I am presently sitting by Will’s bedside in a hospital in Gran Canaria. Will fell and broke his hip after what had been a wonderful holiday away in the Canaries. Hopefully will be home soon/eventually. Thanks for all your kind messages -  Jenny

Pub night with more Pig Racing!! Well clearly racing pigs was another successful village evening. Whether you were drinking a pint, playing darts, sitting with friends or cheering on a fluffy pig I am told that a lot of fun was had that Saturday night. Thanks to all those who helped to make the event happen especially to Paul and Michelle who were the pig managers.

Saturday 28^th November – Village Quiz Night

One of the best nights of the year in the village hall is our popular Quiz night. There will be varied rounds of questions + a cold platter of food in the interval + the bar will be open. This is a ticketed event and tickets are available to buy – see below.

An opportunity to celebrate Christmas with friends from the village. Seasonal food, fun and games and Christmas carols.

Come and join us for our annual post-Christmas Walk followed by a soup lunch.

Village Hall Committee – Your Village Hall needs you!

The village hall is the centre of the village community and plays an important role in the life of the village. We are concerned for the future of the Village Hall Committee as three of us will be leaving at the next AGM in spring next year. Jenny and Will Elphick are retiring and they hold the positions of Chair and Secretary. Rosemarie Hayne is retiring and she holds the position of Treasurer.

Thanks to David Cleave for joining the committee recently but we will urgently need new members for the near future.
