Hilltop Women’s GroupOur curtain up for the new 26/27 programme in September was really good! We had Caroline and Tom, last year’s winners of Race Across The World, speaking to us, showing some great pics and sharing background secrets as to how the programme manages to be so successful. They were lovely and we had a good crowd with quite a few visitors. (Carol needed Securicor to take her home!) Our October meeting on Tuesday 13th, will be a visit from local artist Reg Siger with examples of his work, and an insight into his fascinating life. Usual start time of 7.45. Members £1.00 and visitors £3.00 with a raffle and refreshments. Competition will be a piece of original artwork. Yours or “borrowed” from friends or family. It promises to be an interesting evening, so do join us. The Christmas meal clipboard will be ready to take your details. We are booked in at The White Horse on Tuesday 1st December for LUNCH! Yes LUNCH! Meet at 12 for 12.30. This year, the alternative from an evening meal reflects various requests to change timings. Getting away from night-time driving and late meals. We hope it’s a popular decision. Menus are online from the Hotel, and we will have examples on show. We don’t need to book choices in advance, but we do need to pay a £10, refundable deposit per person.
